Khorfakkan city, Sharjah’s largest town on the eastern Arabian Sea coast, has developed into a tourist attraction with a variety of spectacular activities. Offering a relaxing beach view and a glimpse of local fishing, it’s no wonder this place has become a popular destination in the UAE. Two of the most visited places this recent Eid Al Adha holiday were Khorfakkan waterfalls – a magnificent 45m-high waterfall cascading down next to the amphitheatre – and the newly opened Al-Sahab Rest Area – a rest house at 580 metres above sea level, which offers a magnificent cloud busting panoramic view of Khorfakkan, the Arabian Sea and surrounding area for tens of miles
