Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is the largest crude oil and natural gas Company in India, contributing around 71 percent to Indian domestic production. Over the past decade, ONGC has carried out seven phases of its pipeline replacement project where the new pipeline segment is installed adjacent to the existing pipeline, making it possible for the construction work to be performed without interrupting natural gas flow through the original pipeline. Now PRP-8 is in the process of execution.
Located in the offshore of western India, the PRP-8 involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of of subsea pipelines and related offshore works.
