Marjan Package 4 is the second largest EPCI offshore award from Saudi Aramco for Marjan Increment Development Project, after Marjan Package 1
The scope of Marjan Package 1 includes the fabrication of over 165,000 tons of materials including six major topside platforms and jackets, 12 bridges and six bridge support platforms and jackets, and more than 70 km of 36-inch oil export trunk lines; and more than 90 km of 230 kV composite subsea cables. While for Marjan Package 4, the scope of works involves the fabrication of three tie-in platforms and seven wellhead platforms with a total weight of more than 61,400 tons, as well as the installation of more than 54 km of subsea trunk lines and in-field pipelines, and the laying of more than 90 km of subsea cables.
As part of the Marjan Increment Program (MIP) Package 4 offshore gas facilities, Alico Industries’ Cathodic Protection Division was awarded and successfully completed the supply of 159 ton for a total of 739 nos. galvanic aluminium jacket anodes weighing approximately 254 kg per anode.
