MARJAN PACKAGE 4 OFFSHORE GAS FACILITIES - PIPELINE BRACELET ANODES

As part of Saudi Aramco’s $18 billion investment programme, the expansion of Marjan Package 4 project will boost production capacity of the fields by 550,000 barrels of crude oil and 2.5 billion cubic feet of gas per day. Upon completion of the expansion, the Marjan field is expected to produce 800,000 barrels per day.

The continuous development of the project requires cathodic protection system for submarine pipelines using sacrificial anodes. Bolted type bracelet anodes has been selected for this application and anodes shall be clamped around the pipeline and connected to the pipeline using copper cables connections.

Cathodic Protection Division of Alico Industries was awarded and currently manufacturing of Pipeline Bracelet Anode, tapered semi-cylindrical type in various aluminium alloy weights and sizes starting from 4” till 36” diameter.
