Alico Industries Company Ltd’s Cathodic Protection Division is proud to have played a key role in the successful execution of the TenneT 2GW HVDC Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection Project (Balwin 4) by supplying over 500 galvanic Aluminium-Zinc-Indium alloy jacket anodes. These advanced sacrificial anodes were specifically engineered to provide durable, long-term corrosion protection for critical offshore structures exposed to harsh marine environments. This project forms part of a strategic offshore windfarm grid connectivity initiative designed to support the global energy transition by enhancing subsea transmission infrastructure. Alico’s contribution included the manufacture and delivery of jacket-type sacrificial anodes, each featuring a large diameter steel core meticulously designed and treated to meet stringent international standards.
